The seasons are changing, and with 6 months left of the year now is a great time for a mid-year goal review.
It’s easy for us to focus on what we haven’t done or haven’t achieved, so I’d like to gently remind you – goals are meant to inspire and motivate you, not bring us down.
One can assume that the rest of the year will disappear as fast as the first half did, so now is a great time to do a goal review, look at your progress so far, align with your goals and refocus if needed.
If you’re on track with your goals, awesome! And if you feel like your goals have gotten away from you, that’s ok too. Most of us are working, we have families, friends – and lives. And if you’re ambitious like me, you’ll already know that we tend to overestimate what we can achieve anyway.
Part of doing a mid-year goal review includes reviewing what you have achieved and taking time to celebrate the hard work it took and the effort you put in to get there. This can be as simple as making a list of what we’ve achieved so far this year – and acknowledging your progress.
In this mid-year goal review workbook, you’ll find 3 sections asking thought-provoking questions to help you assess the progress you’ve made over the past 6 months, realign with your goals and gain clarity on what action steps you need to take to make the next 6 months goal getting months!
Goals are important.
Goals help you to create the life you desire. You can indeed get great satisfaction and temporary happiness from achieving them, but when you’re too focused on achieving your goals, you end up merely pursuing happiness. It’s then that you stop enjoying the journey, happiness becomes a destination, instead of always being with you.
